RESEARCH CHEMICALS ON BLOTTER

Research chemicals that are not related to LSD that are being sold and marketed as, or as a replacement for LSD, on sheets of bought novelty blotter art, these potent psychedelic chemicals belong to a group chemicals called Phenethylamines, which include Bromo-Dragonfly, 2cb, MDMA and Mescaline among others, a lot of these chemicals can be toxic in large amounts and there are reports of people dying from overdosing on them.

25C-NBOMe

[4-chloro-2,5-dimethoxy-N-(2-methoxybenz yl)phenethylamine]

Sold as 500µg blotters, United Kingdom, circa 2012, 25C-NBOMe and 2C-C-NBOMe are the same product, It is being sold on blotter as LSD (Acid), derivative of 2C-C.

25I-NBOMe

[2-(4-iodo-2,5-dimethoxyphenyl)-N-[(2-methoxyphenyl)methyl]ethanamine]

25I-NBOMe (2C-I-NBOMe) is a derivative of the phenethylamine psychedelic 2C-I, discovered in 2003 by Ralf Heim at the Free University of Berlin, and subsequently investigated in more detail by a team at Purdue University led by David Nichols.

Recently, 25I-NBOMe and other NBOMe's have been appearing on blotter paper and represented as LSD at festivals and parties due to the effects being very similar.

The threshold dosage is listed at 50–250 µg, with a light dose between 200–600 µg, a common dose at 500–800 µg, and a strong dose at 700–1500 µg.

N-benzylated phenethylamines such as 25I-NBOMe were initially unaffected by the legal status of phenethylamine-class drugs. The British government issued a temporary class drug order on a list of emerging recreational drugs, including 25I-NBOMe, on 4 June 2013. The order, which took effect on 10 June 2013 and will last for up to twelve months, prohibits the production, import and sale of “the NBOMe and Benzofury groups of substances”.

-NBOH are another group of hallucinogenic phenethylamine 2c derivatives, three have appeared on the grey market as replacements for the now illegal NBOMe group,

25I-NBOH

25I-NBOH [2-((2-(4-iodo-2,5-dimethoxyphenyl)ethylamino)methyl)phenol]

Derivative of the phenethylamine derived hallucinogen 2C-I. It acts as a potent agonist for the 5HT2A receptor with a Ki of 0.061nM at the human 5HT2A receptor, making it some twelve times the potency of 2C-I itself. In vitro tests showed this compound acted as an agonist but animal studies have not been reported.

25C-NBOH

General consensus seems to be that 25C-NBOH shows no oral activity, activity via sublingual or parenteral starts at well below one milligram (full activity at 500-700µg) and may be fatal in high doses. Doses lower than one milligram has reported some visual and cognitive activity, though reports are not detailed/well-defined. Doses above one-two milligram(s) have produced profound effects including severe confusion, disorientation, and overwhelming visual distortions. Doses of more than three milligrams may produce seizures and doses of less than ten milligrams may be fatal (shown in other n-benzyl derivatives).

5-MeO-αMT 

5-methoxy-alpha-methyltryptamine is a long-acting synthetic psychedelic tryptamine, it is very potent, requiring only very small dosages to produce full effects, and it is generally available in powder, tablet, or liquid form, and now it seems blotter form, because of its name, confusion with the less-potent αMT, reports of accidental overly strong doses are fairly common, it is considered less pleasant, less fun, and more dangerous than αMT.

DOI 

[2,5-Dimethoxy-4-iodoamphetamine]

DOI is a psychedelic drug of the phenethylamine family, first synthesized by Alexander Shulgin, it has powerful anti-inflammatory that is effective at doses on the order of 100 micrograms in humans, far below its effective dose as a psychedelic, despite being a substituted amphetamine, and it is not a stimulant. DOI is active at a dosage of 1.5 - 3.0 mg with duration of 16 – 30 hours, more than twice that of LSD, it is a Class A drug in the UK.

Benzodiazepines Blotters

It has been traditional to lay blotter with Lsd or another potent psychedelic of some sort, but now it seems that you can lay blotters with just about anything, from stimulants to sedatives.

[8-bromo-1-methyl-6-(pyridin-2-yl)-4H-[1,2,4]triazolo[4,3-a][1,4]benzodiazepine]

Originally developed by a team lead by Leo Sternbach at Hoffman-La Roche in the 1970s, It is mainly an anxiolytic, but it has also shown anticonvulsant and hypnotic effects,  activity is 12x stronger than diazepam while causing little ataxia and sedation.

Diclazepam  [2.5mg blotters]

[7-chloro-5-(2-chlorophenyl)-1-methyl-1,3-dihydro-2H-1,4-benzodiazepin-2-one]

Also known as Chlorodiazepam and 2'-chloro-diazepam, is analogue of diazepam, it was first synthesized by Leo Sternbach and his team at Hoffman-LaRoche in 1960. Its effects are similar to diazepam, possessing anxiolytic, anticonvulsant, hypnotic, sedative, skeletal muscle relaxant, and amnestic properties in animal models. It is approximately ten times as potent as Diazepam in animal models.

3,4CTMP [2.5mg blotters]

3,4CTMP is a very potent, synthetic stimulant, which can be found, laid on blotter tabs. very little information can be found on this chemical.
