Mindstates
60th Anniversary Blotter
Conceived
back in 2003 by Jon Hanna as a fundraiser to commemorate the 60th anniversary
of the discovery of the psychoactive effects of LSD, this beautiful blotter
acid art was created by artist Stevee Postman and printed with soy-based inks
onto 7.5 X 7.5-inch sheets of hemp-blend paper, each of which was perforated
into 900 quarter-inch "hits". A limited edition of 60 were signed and
numbered by the inventor of LSD, Dr. Albert Hofmann; proceeds from their sales
raised over $50,000 for the non-profit organizations Erowid Centre and the
Multidisciplinary Association for Psychedelic Studies. In addition, one of
these sheets of art—additionally autographed by Stanislav Grof, Ralph Metzner,
Myron Stolaroff, and Nick Sand—raised a donation for Erowid of $10,000; at the
time, this was the highest price for which a piece of signed blotter art had
been known to sell.

B&W Ganesh [2004]
A very
nice piece of blotter art that was in circulation in Europe around 2004, unfortunately
the acid on the blotter wasn’t so pretty, and it had the reputation of being known
as the crappy stuff.

Dosed Vanity Blotters
In recent years there has been a
massive explosion in vanity blotter art [some of which is better than others],
with this new source of cheap ready-made blotters, it wasn’t long before people
started to dose them and circulate them on the streets, and it goes without
saying not all these blotters are dosed with LSD, many have other drugs on
them, just the other day I saw a reprint of the 1980’s ‘℗URE Albert Hofmann’
blotter laced with 25I-NBOMe: http://wangchu47.blogspot.co.uk/

The Hunab Ku
Hunab Ku (Mayan pronunciation: [huˈnaɓ ku]) is a Yucatec
Maya word meaning "The Only God", the word was probably a translation
into Maya of the Christian concept of the "One God", this is American
New Age author and artist José Argüelles
modification of the Hunab Ku symbol. Appeared in circulation in the United
States around 2012.
If
anyone has any different samples of this subject I would be interested in
purchasing one or two tabs for the index, vintage and contemporary, any condition,
please let me know!
